DIGICEL ANNOUNCES WINNER OF ITS VALENTINE PROMOTION
Friday, 18 February 2011 – Road Town, Tortola: “I love my Boo because she is the only one that gives me butterflies when I see her name show up on my caller ID”!
That was the winning text chosen from among hundreds received during Digicel’s just-ended Valentine’s Day promotion. The promotion, launched January 31st, 2011, climaxed on Friday February 18th, 2011 with the selection of the winner by a panel of judges during a live radio broadcast in the Digicel Flagship Store on Waterfront Drive in Road Town.
Alexis Lettsome could not contain her excitement when she received the news that she won and says she can’t wait to redeem her grand prize. “I am just so ecstatic,” she declared, “these kinds of things don’t happen to me. Digicel, you are the best!”
Her prize for two includes a limousine pick-up; dinner at Spaghetti Junction; hair style, manicure and pedicure at Star Works Beauty Salon and a package deal at the Bitter End Yacht Club, one of the top full service resorts in the world (transfer from Tortola to Virgin Gorda, 2-day 1-night stay, meals, unlimited Club fleet activities, special dinner on the beach, champagne and spa treatment).
Digicel’s CEO Alan Bates congratulated Ms. Lettsome on being the lucky winner of the Valentine’s Day promotion and thanked her for being a loyal Digicel customer for the past year. Bates also expressed his gratitude to ZROD 103.7FM, Star Works Beauty Salon, Spaghetti Junction and Bitter End Yacht Club for supporting this promotion and making it a success.
