Auto-renew of BlackBerry Plans
February 25th, 2011 - As of today, all prepaid BlackBerry subscribers in BVI who have subscribed to any Prepaid BlackBerry Plan, could have their service auto renewed when it has expired.
On the day before (24hrs) the currently active plan is set to expire, the customer will receive the SMS Your subscription to plan ^PLAN_NAME^ will be extended on ^EXPIRE_DATE^. To terminate your subscription dial *^USSD_CODE^*6*^SELECTION_CODE^#.”
If the subscriber does not dial the termination code, the plan will automatically be renewed on the expiry date. If the subscriber does not have sufficient credit at the time the auto renew does not go through, the customer would then have to purchase credit then dial *136# to activate the plan of choice.
Further to this, customers on a prepaid BlackBerry Plan would no longer have to dial reactivation codes to get their service renewed. When a prepaid BlackBerry Plan has expired, the subscriber would simply dial *136# to start the sign up process all over again. There would be no need to remember lengthy reactivation codes.
