Non-BlackBerry Data Bundles (For GPRS enabled handsets)
1. What is the Data Bundles service?
“Data Bundles” is a product which allows a Digicel non BlackBerry prepaid customer the ability to access and use Internet, Email, Instant Messenger etc via their handset for a set period of time which is determined by the plan selected.
2. What do you need to access the Data Bundles Service?
· Prepaid account with adequate credit available
· GPRS/EDGE compatible handset
3. What does Data Bundles service entail?
Digicel non BlackBerry prepaid customers can purchase plans (1 day, 7 days, 14 days or 30 days) from their handset via short code *135#. A subsequent message will be sent to the subscriber detailing the list of plans available. The subscriber would then select the plan which best suits them and activate via the short code indicated.

4. Is this service available to both prepaid & postpaid subscribers?
Data Bundles is ONLY available to prepaid subscribers
5. Can a BlackBerry customer subscribe to this service?
Only non BlackBerry customers can subscribe to use this service
6. Which handsets are compatible with the Data Bundles Service?
All GPRS/EDGE handsets are compatible with this service; however the quality of the service received is dependent on the handset.
7. Is there a cost to Data Bundles Service?
Yes, there is a cost to the service. Please refer to the table below:

8. If a customer has the Data Bundles plan active are they charged to browse Digicel Live or purchase ringtones?
Yes. Digicel Live, including ringtone and wallpaper downloads are premium services and are not included in the Data Bundles offer.
9. Is there a maximum on the data usage?
Yes. Data Bundle subscribers are allowed up to 20 Mb of browsing per day without being charged. If subscribers do exceed that daily limit normal charging of $0.01/Mb will take effect.
10. How will I know if I have reached my data limit?
Yes. Customers can use the same activation code to view. (Refer to question 3.)
11. Am I able to use Data Bundles while roaming?
No. Roaming data rates apply

§ Data Bundles is available via short code *135#
§ Data Bundles offer prepaid data; 1 day, 7 days, 14 days & 30 days that can be purchased by a valid Digicel subscriber.
§ Each plan is limited to 20Mb /day. Regular data charges will be applied when this is exceeded.
