Tahesia misses CAC Championships

July 14^th, 2011

Today is July 14th, one day after I should have arrived in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to defend my 100 meter title. Due to personal reasons I will not be able to contest my title. So my goal of possibly being the first woman to win their respective event three consecutive times is not going to happen. 

I am really sad that I am unable to go to the CAC Championships to compete, but I know that we have 7 other athletes who are going represent our country well. 

I wish them all the best of luck and I hope they take some of those medals out of Puerto Rico and bring it back to the British Virgin Islands.
